Professional poker player Derek Kelly who founded the well known Gutshot club in London and has recently ventured into the Voodoo card club in Ireland is due to give a 30 minute lecture at the event.

The lecture will be about the growth of poker in Britain and Ireland and aims to help more experienced players take a trip down memory lane and to enlighten newer players about the history of the game and how it got as far as it has. In addition to the lecture, he will be signing copies of his new book, “Tales of a degenerate poker player.”

Leicester square will be the venue for the occasion which is to be held over two days from August 13th til 14th.

Derek isn’t the only famous poker player taking part, you will also be able to see: Neil Channing, Nick Persaud, Ian Frazer, Paul Jackson and Kara Scott all of which will be available to sign autographs and reply to questions.
